Nitrided screw barrels are made from high-quality alloy steel, which has outstanding hardness, toughness, and wear resistance. The nitriding process involves diffusing nitrogen atoms into the surface layer of the screw, which creates a hard and wear-resistant layer on the screw's working surface. The hardened surface layer can significantly improve the screw's wear resistance, corrosion resistance, and service life, which can reduce the replacement frequency and downtime during production.

 

Nitrided screw barrels have excellent thermal conductivity, which can help to optimize the plasticizing process and reduce energy consumption. The unique structure of the screw thread can also effectively increase the conveying ability and plasticizing efficiency of the screw barrel.
